The Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act and equivalent California law requirements, have significantly created unique obligations for employers when dealing with employees who cannot work due to injuries or illnesses.
Mr. Wilson:
- Develops workplace safety programs;
- Drafts policies covering leaves of absence, workplace accommodation and related issues;
- Trains managers to understand disability issues; and
- Defends lawsuits of alleged disability and leave discrimination.
It is imperative for Employers to have a clear understanding of this complex area of law.
